| Set in a London restaurant, "I Really Hate My Job" centers around the lives of five ordinary women looking for a way out. The movie shows the behind-the-counter attitudes, perspectives, and tribulations of a cook, a dishwasher, and three waitresses who would soon get the chance to break out of their every day ruts. The women, Abi (Neve Cambell), Suzie (Alexandra Maria Lara), Rita (Oana Pellea), Alice (Shirley Henderson), and Madonna (Anna Maxwell Martin) are shaken from the monotony of their daily routine by preparations for the arrival of the ultimate customer: Hollywood actor Danny Huston (played as himself). Suddenly, London's run-of-the-mill employees slide into personals that speak more to their imaginative delusions. |
